Sparked by a habit of beating myself up in middle school, reading self-help books has brought a plethora of awareness, skills, and mindsets that still apply.

I believe I can do great things and will pursue them, pushing past setbacks, finding new solutions, and seeking help to achieve my goals.
Focused
Recognizing that the world is full of convenient and addictive distractions, I chose to detach myself from them. Website and app blockers remove distractions and assist me in prioritizing what's important.

Specific, digital, and ordered to-do lists via Habitica bring clarity and motivation to my day, making tasks much easier to track and annihilate. I also utilize the power of spreadsheets to organize large projects and mark appointments on a digital calendar.
This has enabled me to build solid cybersecurity habits in a practical and learning sense.
Inquisitive
My parents told me that I've always asked silly questions, but as I've grown up, I've learned how to form effective questions instead.

My thirst for education was sharpened after grasping entire systems of learning, which doubled my learning ability.
I use these systems to learn any concept: cybersecurity, mindset, courses, hobbies, and communication are some of my self-taught skills.
Upbringing
My desire to program began in middle school when the class programmed a robot to traverse a maze. Then it came to me: whatever I tell the computer to do, it does. Due to this revelation, I learned more about it and studied C++ in high school, where I practiced building programs from book topics daily. The practices coalesced into an archive of small projects in GitHub.
In college, a shift transpired. I wanted to serve people more than building apps by protecting their data. Cybersecurity suited this desire. Ever since then, I have been learning how to pursue my mission to protect by synergizing certificates, online practice, self-created projects, and coursework.
